Another new feature for 2023 is Display B, simple, robust and reliable system for recreational riders who want to get started right away. With central mounting and large format display, this intuitive new development is the perfect partner for the PW S2.

DRIVE - Yamaha features

Yamaha has built a reputation over the years as a manufacturer of eBike systems with high quality standards and excellent reliability. Maintenance-free: none of the drive's internal components need to be replaced at regular intervals. You can ride far without worrying that your trusted technician is not nearby. Highly resistant to external agents and overheating. This means more range and effortless mastering of all climbs.

Automatic assistance mode
All sensors monitor riding conditions. Algorithms automatically select the optimal level of pedal assistance. The result is finely tuned, user-friendly riding. The algorithms are defined individually for each drive unit in the range, creating the expected riding experience for every situation. If you want to switch between the assistance modes manually, you can also switch off the automatic assistance mode.

The Quad Sensor System
The Quad Sensor System adds an angle sensor to the sensor system to detect the angle of the bike's climb or descent. There are also sensors for speed, pedal crank speed and pedaling torque. The system automatically detects riding conditions and delivers the assistance power and acceleration required at any given time.

Yamaha has incorporated its many years of motorsports experience into the support functions for its eBike systems. The result: a powerful yet natural and intuitive riding experience.

BATTERY & CHARGER

Yamaha battery packs are designed to fit many different types of bikes. Yamaha eBike systems include a complete range of "multi-location" batteries with a compact, elegant shape. These are easy to integrate into the frame and give frame designers plenty of design freedom. To complement this, we have long offered under-roof batteries and luggage rack batteries.
