The company

Vittoria Tyres is one of the world's largest tyre manufacturers with headquarters in Italy and its own production facilities in Thailand. With over seven million tyres produced, Vittoria is a big player in the bicycle tyre market.

Vittoria has defined three pillars for its value structure: Innovation, Sustainability and Uniqueness. The aim is to be able to offer high-quality, high-performance products through innovation. Sustainability plays an important role. The company has recognised that cycling itself is totally "green", but tyre production is not. For this reason, Vittoria has been a member of the Shift Cycling Culture since 2021, which is committed to sustainable change in the bicycle industry. Vittoria wants to lead the way with its tyres in every respect. This is aptly expressed by the company motto "The Ride Ahead". The third pillar of the Vittoria philosophy is uniqueness. We want to achieve this because we want to be better than our competitors in every respect.

New technologies

Vittoria says about itself: "We are obsessed with developing innovative products". This obsession regularly results in technologies that make Vittoria tyres stand out from the crowd. Here are a few examples:

• Graphene as a component of certain rubber compounds. Vittoria is the only tyre manufacturer to use the new wonder material graphene in its rubber compounds. Small additions of the extremely thin form of carbon ensure significantly better effects than is the case with other additives.
• Silica graphene: Rubber compounds to which silica (silicon dioxide) is added last longer and offer better grip.
• 4-component technology: Vittoria uses four different rubber compounds for certain tyres and combines them to create an exceptionally high-performance tread. In this way, the ideal rubber compound is used at every point on the tyre. For example, rubber with above-average abrasion resistance is used on the tread so that the tyre lasts longer. In contrast, the side lugs of mountain bike tyres are extremely stiff so that they do not bend when cornering.

What types of tyres are available from Vittoria?

Vittoria Tyres has suitable tyre models for every cycling discipline in its range. The overview of the different tyre ranges is more extensive. Vittoria offers the following types of tyres:

• Vittoria road bike tyres for racing, for training and for endurance use. Vittoria offers tubeless ready road bike tyres, conventional folding tyres and traditional tubular tyres with an integrated inner tube.
• Vittoria Gravel tyres and Cyclo Cross tyres, for tubular or tubeless ready as folding or clincher tyres or with integrated air cushion as tubular tyres
• Vittoria MTB tyres for enduro and trail use. They are available in an all-round version, which Vittoria calls Trail TNT. Vittoria Enduro TLR tyres are extremely robust and exceptionally puncture-resistant thanks to their double-reinforced carcass. Vittoria Enduro Race TLR tyres combine high puncture resistance with an optimised ride feel on technical trails and at high speeds. They have additional puncture protection and are ideal for racing.
• Vittoria XC tyres combine low weight, good puncture protection and excellent grip. To achieve this, extremely finely structured 120 TPI nylon carcasses are used. The XC Race TLR tyres are super light and ideal for racing. The tyres in the XC Trail TNT family are extremely robust. The eponymous models in the Vittoria portfolio are specially designed for the new down-country XC discipline. They focus on good durability, optimum grip and high puncture resistance.
• Vittoria bicycle tyres for city and hybrid use. With these tyres, the main focus is on high reliability and good puncture protection. Vittoria divides its city tyres into three categories. Tyres with "Standard Protection" use a robust, stiff 26 TPI nylon carcass. They are ideal for any type of city bike in normal urban use. Tyres in the 1.3 mm PRB category are equipped with 1.3 mm thick puncture protection. 3 mm PRB tyres come with 3 mm puncture protection and meet the highest demands. They are equipped with the Graphene rubber compound, which increases the service life and ensures improved properties in bad weather.

Vittoria also has various e-bike tyre series in its range. Vittoria E-MTB tyres are designed for sporty off-road riding. They offer a perfect mix of good rolling characteristics, optimum grip and low weight. The Vittoria E-Randonneur tyres are designed for those who don't want to worry about their tyres. They are a good choice for classic city e-bikes, trekking e-bikes and commuting e-bikes. They shine with good all-round properties, durability, good puncture protection and useful everyday features such as integrated reflector strips.
Vittoria Air-Liner tyre inserts ensure that punctures are a thing of the past. A foam bead replaces the classic inner tube - a typical puncture is therefore no longer possible. Air-Liner inserts offer extremely good grip and maintain a constant "pressure".
