XX1 Eagle chain:

From the outside, it looks like any other chain. But it has it all. Its completely new design allows for a total gear ratio that was previously reserved for gears with two chainrings. This chain is the key to making our Eagle™ so smooth, precise, durable and quiet. Its links are smoothed, without sharp corners and edges. The benefit of this: velvety smooth, almost silent running and longer chainring and cassette life. Due to the smoother chain links, the riveting is more even and the tensile strength is higher. Our HARD CHROME™ technology increases the running performance of the chain. The titanium nitride coating protects it from corrosion and reduces friction.
