Matching these features, the 614 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 is the new gravel saddle from SQlab. This model combines the advantages of the well-known ERGOWAVE® saddles 611 (MTB) and 612 (Road): a waisted shape offers maximum legroom off-road, at the same time the saddle has the padding of the 611 ERGOWAVE® model to provide maximum cushioning and comfort on rough off-road trails. SQlab active technology provides additional comfort, especially on the gravel bike by mobilizing the intervertebral discs. High-quality Kevlar cover protects the most stressed areas on the saddle.

ERGOWAVE® shape

The saddle's wave-like shape and raised tail provide perfect rearward support and optimal pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body, significantly improving power transfer to the pedal. The deeper nose, in combination with the depression in the middle, creates more space and clearance for the perineal area for both women and men.

SQlab active technology offers additional comfort on long distances, especially on gravel bikes. SQlab active saddle technology allows the saddle to follow the pedaling motion, comfort increases, the intervertebral discs are mobilized and pressure on the sit bones is minimized.

Dip:

The slight depression in the center of the saddle reduces pressure on the sensitive structures of the perineal area.

Deep & Flat:

The flat only slightly curved saddle nose provides maximum contact area and accordingly less pressure.

Sporty Tail:

The raised rear provides additional support to the rear and ensures a more efficient power transmission in the terrain.

More clearance:

The lowered nose, in combination with the dip, creates more space and clearance for the perineal area for both women and men.
