The 16° backsweep ensures a straight transition from the forearm to the hand, which is particularly important for handlebar widths from 700 mm. The 10 mm stretch forwards almost compensates for the shortening caused by the 16° bend. The 2.5° upsweep (upward bend) brings the elbows into an optimum position in terms of riding dynamics.
The best material, carefully and precisely bent and processed, make the SQlab 311 one of the highest quality handlebars on the market.
The bend of the 311 originates to a large extent from moto cross sport, where similarly high backsweep and upsweep are used. Only when the ergonomics are 100% right is it possible to reach maximum speed with a correspondingly high load on the body in the long term.
The handlebars are not approved for use in the bike park or downhill.
Also available with 27.0 clamp incl. sleeve for 31.8 stems. The smaller handlebar diameter increases the flex of the handlebar. The sleeve - optionally made of plastic or aluminium - ensures an optimum fit in the stem and prevents the stem from notching.
The handlebars are supplied without the stem shown.
