It is the symbiosis of the innovative motor gearbox unit (MGU) from Pinion, with a modern all-mountain geometry and optimised weight distribution that makes the R.X1000 a height-loving all-mountain. That's what the X in ROTWILD's name stands for. It accompanies you metre by metre above the tree line - where it gets "scrambly", where the rock gains the upper hand over the vegetation, where you need reliable power and safety. The summit cross always in view. The MGU combines motor and gearbox and is positioned low on the bike's bottom bracket. This lowers its centre of gravity. Its official name? E.1.12. It constantly supports you with energy from a battery that has an enormous capacity of 960 watt hours and provides you with far-reaching power. With 85 Newton metres of torque and 12 gears, you can bring this power to the trail. Precise, smooth and buttery smooth: because the R.X1000 shifts electronically. By combining the drivetrain and motor, the R.X1000 does not require a rear derailleur or cassette. This drastically reduces weight in the rear triangle. The mass there is unsprung and every gram less in movement counts for more agility in the chassis. The result is sensitive suspension that can react directly to obstacles and bumps. By using the Mullet tyres, we can work with a shorter chainstay. In size L it is 445 mm long. We have interlocked both chainstays with high rigidity on the front frame triangle. We call this the Open Bridge Triangle. This means we don't need a connecting bridge between the stays. This creates more free space for the rear wheel. It moves a good distance forwards and the entire rear triangle becomes shorter. This ensures high manoeuvrability and allows you to make fast turns downhill. On the uphill, however, you need grip. The suspension of the R.X1000 generates a lot of traction when you pedal. It takes your weight and sticks to the ground. This keeps you stable and allows you to climb high.
