The SmarTUBE is Pirelli's latest product. For decades, we have been applying our know-how in the development of high-performance tire systems. A bicycle tube that can keep up with the performance of our high-end tires is the logical consequence. It is the result of our cooperation with top athletes from the UCI World Tour. Our goal was to transfer the requirements of the athletes into a product suitable for everyday use. With the SmarTUBE we have succeeded. The SmartTUBE is made of a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and is up to 70% lighter than a conventional butyl tube. It is also up to 50% more space-saving. In addition, the SmarTUBE is extremely durable and resilient.

The SmarTUBE is available in different sizes for the application areas: Road, Gravel and MTB.

The combination of our P-ZERO Clincher with the P-ZERO SmarTUBE convinces by rolling behavior, suppleness and speed.

The SmarTUBES reduce the rotating mass of the wheels. This makes the bike more agile and can be accelerated better, even on the mountain. They also improve the handling of the bike.

The SmarTUBES are very light and compact. Therefore, they are ideal as a spare tube for longer rides. They save space and weight, leaving more room, eg. E.g. for food and equipment remains.

The Cinturato models are extra reinforced. The TPU material has been optimized so that they have the following advantages over a standard bytl tube: They are lighter, more compact and about twice as robust. The SmarTUBES come in Pirelli yellow race look with black valves.
