Important: Break in brake pads!
New brake pads develop their final braking power only during the break-in phase. To do this, accelerate to 30 km/h on a level road. Brake to a standstill with one brake. Repeat this procedure at least 30 times for each brake. Brake pads and discs are now run in and offer optimum braking performance.

The latest milestone in history included innovations such as the MAGURA ABS components perfectly matched to the Bosch eBike ABS. The electric drive of e-bikes enables higher speeds, further distances and the transport of heavier loads, thus resulting in new requirements for braking. A study concluded that 29% of all pedelec accidents could have been avoided with Bosch eBike ABS.
