When using the Pressure Over Drive as a regular pump, the chamber must fill with air before an empty tire/tube can be inflated. This may require several strokes before the tire/tube begins to inflate. When refilling a tire/tube that already has pressure, the chamber must first reach the same pressure that the tire/tube has before it can be inflated further.
