We have received some requests to offer a sofa cushion that is wider than our standard. With our double width design, you can lie in the flat position with your head at the wide end and have a 31 cm wide cushion on your shoulders, or lie the other way and have a width of 26 cm. The reason for the double width is that some lifters prefer wider support under the shoulders when bench pressing, while others want more freedom of movement.
We've used the same pad width for generations to provide the most versatility for all users and sizes, but this new design goes further. Some movements, like supine dumbbell rows, are more difficult with an extra-wide pad, and not everyone always wants a wider pad, so the top portion is our standard width. This hybrid design offers the best of both worlds.
