What is there to know about Haibike?
The Haibike brand was founded in 1995 in the bicycle city of Schweinfurt. Initially, the sporty bikes were offered under the name of the parent brand Winora. However, they soon bore the name Haibike. In the years that followed, the brand continued to develop in terms of technology and content. One of the brand's specialities is high-performance e-bikes. The manufacturer divides its range of e-bikes roughly into e-MTB, e-Trekking and S-Pedelecs as well as e-bikes for children and has the categories eMountainbikes, Cross eBikes, children's eBikes, S-Pedelecs andTrekking eBikes.
Where are Haibike brand bikes manufactured?
Frames, components and e-motors are assembled in Germany.
Which motors are installed in the brand's e-bikes?
Haibike uses e-bike technology from various manufacturers to offer you powerful performance and reliable support on the road.
Depending on the model, the latest generation of Haibike bikes is equipped with a Bosch motor or a motor from Yamaha. The key data for both motors at a glance:
- Bosch Performance CX
The Bosch motor is compact yet powerful and efficient. It accelerates extremely powerfully, responds without delay, provides up to 340% perfectly dosed support and is 1.1 kg lighter than its predecessor. - YAMAHA PW-X2
Compared to its predecessor PW-ST, the Yamaha motor also offers significant support at higher pedalling frequencies, and Extra Power Mode can also be activated as an option. The agile response behaviour makes the Yamaha motor system a guarantee of fun on every tour.
Thanks to an additional inclination sensor, the Quad Sensor System measures the degree of incline or descent and adapts the performance of the Yamaha PW-X2 to the situation.
Where can I find the frame size on my Haibike?
While the frame or serial number is often stamped or milled into the underside of the bottom bracket, the frame size and other specifications can be found on a sticker affixed by the manufacturer.
How long is the Haibike warranty or guarantee period?
The complete bike has a statutory warranty period of 2 years, with the exception of wearing parts. You can find more detailed information on wearing parts in the operating instructions for your Haibike. As the first owner, you will receive a manufacturer's warranty of 5 years from the date of purchase on frames if the service interval is adhered to (proof & entry on the last pages of the operating instructions).
How long does the battery of my Haibike E-bike last?
The operating time of your battery depends on your personal riding style and how much assistance you use. You can increase your range with the Range Extender. Haibike offers you an additional battery for most bikes.
Which Haibike model is suitable for which route?
Whether MTB, E-MTB, trekking eBikes or S-pedelecs - Haibike offers you a bike or E-Bike for every terrain. Cross-country and off-road rides are best undertaken with a mountain bike from the Seet series. The e-bike for off-road terrain, for example with models from the All-Mountain series such as the Haibike AllMtn in the Haibike AllMtn SE model variant, you can climb any mountain. With less suspension, but just as much power, the Haibike XDURO AllTrail offers you the same in its various model variants.
With a trekking e-bike such as the HAIBIKE SDURO Trekking, you can travel fast on roads and paths and overtake any traffic jam in rush hour traffic.
Speed pedelecs are just as suitable for daily commuting as they are for long trips and cross-country journeys. The only thing you won't find in the brand's portfolio are racing bikes or e-road bikes.
Discover the legendary Haibike E-MTB models: extremely reliable, honoured with multiple design awards for their unique design and the benchmark in e-performance since 2010.
Haibike Xduro, Haibike Sduro, Haibike FullNine and Haibike FullSeven as well as Haibike Sduro Trekking, Haibike AllMtn, Haibike e bike, Haibike Hardtails or Haibike E MTBs give you full support thanks to powerful motors from Bosch and Yamaha.
Haibike's E-Performance is not directed against cycling, nor does it want to or can it replace it. This is also the reason why we continue to build non-motorised sports bikes with passion and conviction.
Haibike not only offers you e-bikes in various designs, but also the classic MTB: The pure hardtail models of the Haibike Seet series fulfil the need for the most original mountain biking - without any assistance, just pure muscle power. The Seet series also offers bikes for children, with Haibike hardtail models such as the Haibike HardFour catering for the youngest of cyclists.
Which Haibike e-bike models have eConnect?
With eConnect, Haibike networks the e-MTB and opens up completely new digital possibilities. A small unit integrated into the e-bike sends and receives data. This enables functions such as GPS-based theft monitoring, bike localisation, route recording and export. All information can be viewed and managed via a special app. Haibike is thus the first to pave the way for the smart ePerformance bike.
