Magnets or other accessories are not required. The sensor is quickly mounted and easy to maintain. In addition, it can be used on different bikes without any problems. The speed sensor 2 is mounted on one of the wheel hubs. Manually set up the wheel size in Garmin Connect™ or self-calibrate with an Edge® bike computer or compatible Garmin device. Once set up, you'll always get accurate speed and distance data - even without pairing with a Garmin product.
ANT+® connectivity and Bluetooth® Low Energy allow you to sync with Garmin Connect and other training apps, compatible devices and fitness equipment. You'll have a wealth of data at your fingertips for indoor workouts and outdoor trips. The speed sensor 2 automatically saves the distance of every ride and can thus be used for planning service intervals.
