Fluid resistance: rowing like on water
Rowing with a Fluid Rower sounds, feels and looks like rowing on water, thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented twin-tank technology. This unique system allows you to easily adjust the water resistance at any time using the rotary knob.

The water tank of the Fluid Rower consists of two separate tanks: an inner tank and an outer tank. The inner tank is the "passive tank" or storage tank, while the outer tank is the "active tank" or resistance tank. If you set a higher resistance with the rotary knob while rowing, the water is transferred from the passive tank to the active tank. As a result, you will feel a higher resistance after a few rowing strokes. If you select a lower resistance, the water is fed from the active tank back into the passive tank so that you feel less resistance after a few rowing strokes.

You can adjust the resistance quickly and easily during training and do not have to determine the amount of water in the tank in advance. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank has been perfected and refined down to the smallest detail: if the water limit is not exceeded, the tank will never run out. Not even if you place it upright.

The Viking Pro V is powered by a V-Twin tank, which offers 15 % more resistance than a normal Twin tank. In addition, the water resistance indicator is connected to the Bluetooth monitor via a sensor.

Fluid BluetoothMonitor: real-time insight into your rowing stroke
The Fluid Bluetooth Monitor gives you instant insight into all your training parameters such as time, watts, calories, distance and rowing strokes per minute. In addition, the monitor automatically displays the resistance level that you have set using the rotary knob on the rowing machine. You can also connect to training apps such as Fluid Connect, Regatta, Asensei, EXR and Kinomap via Bluetooth.

The so-called Power Graph is a unique function of the Fluid Bluetooth monitor. This graph shows your rowing stroke in real time. You can use this information to perfect your rowing technique. The better your technique, the more you can get out of your training! The ideal rowing stroke consists of six steps that result in a smooth, repetitive cyclical movement.

Smartphone holder included - easily check your progress

Want to see your progress at a glance? Then attach a smartphone holder above the monitor so that you always have your screen in view. The smartphone holder can be easily adjusted in height and set so that (almost) any phone fits in the holder. Would you like to train according to your heart rate? Then connect the monitor via Bluetooth to a digital heart rate monitor (sold separately) or let the trainer read your heart rate directly via the Touch Heart Rate Handle (sold separately).

The details of a Fluid Rower make all the difference. For example, our seat guarantees a highly comfortable rowing workout. After years of research and development, we have found the perfect balance between hard and soft. Thanks to the well thought-out, ergonomic shape and non-slip texture, you sit firmly yet comfortably on the seat. The seat is raised for easy access and comfort can be further enhanced with the fluid backrest kit and the elevation kit.

For added stability, the seat is mounted on a double rail. The double bearing wheels under the seat glide smoothly over two plastic strips attached to both rails. This prevents wear and tear and results in a consistently quiet rowing experience: you won't hear any noise other than the "swish" of the moving water.

Small brushes are fitted behind the seat wheels. These sweep the rails with every rowing movement and prevent dust particles from the rails sticking to the wheels. This keeps every rowing movement smooth.

Each foot sits firmly in place
The foot plates are height-adjustable and equipped with two sturdy, separate foot straps that allow you to secure each foot individually. The feet are close together, just like in a real rowing boat. Both foot plates also have a specially developed "scoop" on the underside. Thanks to its design, this heel support adapts perfectly to the heel of your shoe and moves with every rowing movement. This prevents your foot from slipping while rowing.

The Fluid Rower Viking Pro V has a high-quality ergonomic handle. Thanks to its slightly curved and extra wide shape, it offers the best grip with every rowing stroke. Your body automatically adopts the best posture so that you can exert the most force. The handle is connected to a nylon strap: strong, quiet and stable. The strength of the bungee, the elastic band that pulls the belt back, has been optimized so that it does not create any additional resistance, but still gently pulls the belt back into the trainer as soon as you move forward. This happens in a smooth motion without the bungee creating a pulling sensation or the belt "stuttering" during this movement.

The tank frame effortlessly withstands even the strongest rowing strokes
The wooden frame above the tank absorbs most of the force during training. This is because you push off on the footplate and pull with the cord on the pulley at the front of the frame. Because the frame of the Fluid Rower Viking Pro V is made of one piece of bent wood, it does not squeak or creak and feels very stable. This means you can train as intensively as you like on the Fluid Rower without worrying about breaking anything.

Have you finished your workout? Then simply put your Fluid Rower to one side. The center of gravity is at the front of the trainer, making it easy to tilt. Thanks to the ball bearings and soft transport wheels, you can move your rowing trainer effortlessly without damaging your floor.

Made from durable American ash wood
The Viking Pro V is made from American ash wood. This is a strong, durable and affordable wood that matches the appearance of the rowing machine. The wood has been sanded and varnished twice to protect it even during the most intensive training. Each threaded hole in the wooden frame is fitted with a metal bushing. This prevents the wood from splintering or the screw from being overtightened during assembly and the rowing trainer from losing stability over time. The intermediate parts at the front of the rowing machine are attached to each other with a metal plate. This prevents the rower from squeaking during use. Every detail of the Fluid Rower has been optimized for intensive and long-term use.
