Fluid resistance: rowing as if on water
Rowing with a Fluid Rower sounds, feels and looks like you're on the water, thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented Twin Tank technology. This unique system allows you to easily adjust the water resistance at any time with the turn of a knob.

The Fluid Rower's water tank consists of two separate tanks: an inner tank and an outer tank. The inner tank is the "passive tank" or storage tank, while the outer tank is the "active tank" or resistance tank. When you use the knob to set a higher resistance while rowing, the water is transferred from the passive tank to the active tank. As a result, you will feel a higher resistance after a few strokes of rowing. If you select a lower resistance, the water will be transferred from the active tank back to the passive tank, so you will feel a lower resistance after a few rowing strokes.

You can quickly and easily adjust the resistance during your workout and don't have to pre-determine the amount of water in the tank. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank has been perfected and refined down to the smallest detail: if the water limit is not exceeded, the tank will never run out. Not even if you place it upright.

The Viking 3 V has a V-Twin tank as the drive, which offers 15% more resistance than a normal twin tank. Plus, the water resistance gauge is connected to the Bluetooth monitor via a sensor.

Fluid Bluetooth Monitor: real-time insight into your rowing stroke
The Fluid Bluetooth Monitor gives you instant insight into all your training parameters such as time, watts, calories, distance and rowing strokes per minute. In addition, the monitor automatically displays the resistance level you set using the knob on the rower. You can also connect to training apps like Fluid Connect, Regatta, Asensei, EXR and Kinomap via Bluetooth.

The so-called Power Graph is a unique feature of the Fluid Bluetooth Monitor. This graph shows your rowing stroke in real time. You can use this information to perfect your rowing technique. The better your technique, the more you can get out of your workout! The ideal rowing stroke consists of six steps that create a smooth, repetitive cyclical motion.

Want to see your progress at a glance? Then attach a smartphone mount over the monitor so you can always keep your screen in view. The smartphone holder can be easily adjusted in height and set so that (almost) any phone fits in the holder. Would you like to train according to heart rate? Then connect the monitor via Bluetooth to a digital heart rate monitor (sold separately), or let the trainer read your heart rate directly from the Touch Heart Rate Handle (sold separately).

Thanks to the well thought-out ergonomic shape and non-slip texture, you sit firmly yet comfortably on the seat. The seat is raised for easy entry, and comfort can be further enhanced with the Fluid Backrest Kit and Elevation Kit.

For added stability, the seat is mounted on a double rail. The double-bearing wheels under the seat slide smoothly over two plastic strips attached to both rails. This prevents wear and tear and results in an always quiet rowing experience: you won't hear any noise other than the "rush" of moving water.

The footplates are height-adjustable and equipped with two sturdy, separate foot loops that allow you to secure each foot individually. The feet are close together, just like in a real rowing boat. Both foot plates also feature a specially designed "scoop" on the bottom. Thanks to its design, this heel support fits perfectly to the heel of your shoe and moves with every rowing movement. This prevents your foot from slipping off while rowing.

The Fluid Rower Viking 3 V features a high-quality ergonomic handle. Thanks to its slightly curved and extra wide shape, it provides the best grip during every rowing stroke. Your body automatically assumes the best posture so you can exert the greatest force. The handle is connected to a nylon belt: strong, quiet and stable. The strength of the bungee, the elastic band that pulls the belt back, has been optimized so that it does not create additional resistance, but still gently pulls the belt back into the trainer as you move forward. This is done in a smooth motion without the bungee creating a pulling sensation or the belt "stuttering" during this movement.

The tank frame effortlessly withstands even the strongest rowing strokes
The wooden frame above the tank absorbs most of the force during your workout. This is because you push off on the footplate and pull on the pulley at the front of the frame with the cord. Since this frame on the Fluid Rower Viking 3 V is made of one piece of curved wood, it doesn't squeak or creak and feels very sturdy. This means you can work out as intensely as you want on the Fluid Rower without worrying about breaking anything.

Are you done with your workout? Then simply put your Fluid Rower to the side. The center of gravity is at the front of the trainer, making it very easy to tilt. Thanks to the ball bearings and soft transport wheels, you can move your rowing trainer effortlessly without damaging your floor.

Madeof durable American ash wood
The Viking 3 V is made from American ash wood. This is a strong, durable and affordable wood that matches the appearance of the rower. The wood has been sanded and varnished twice to protect it during the most intense workouts. Each threaded hole in the wooden frame has a metal bushing. This prevents the wood from splintering or the screw from overtightening during assembly, and the rowing trainer from losing stability over time. The intermediate parts at the front of the rower are attached to each other with a metal plate. This prevents the rower from squeaking during use. Every detail of the Fluid Rower has been optimized for intensive and long-term use.
