Rowing with a Fluid rowing machine sounds, feels and looks like you're on the water, thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented twin-tank technology. This unique system allows you to easily adjust the resistance of the water at any time using the rotary knob.

Adjustable fluid resistance

The water tank of the Fluid rowing machine consists of two separate tanks: an inner tank and an outer tank. The inner tank is the "passive tank" or storage tank, while the outer tank is the "active tank" or resistance tank. If you select a higher resistance with the rotary knob while rowing, the water is moved from the passive tank to the active tank. As a result, you will experience more resistance after a few rowing strokes. If you select a lower resistance, the water is siphoned from the active tank back into the passive tank so that you experience less resistance after a few strokes.

You experience fast and smooth resistance adjustment during your workout and never have to determine the amount of water in the tank in advance. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank has been perfected and refined down to the smallest detail: if the water limit is not exceeded, the tank will never leak, even when standing upright. The Neon Pro XL has an XL Twin Tank as the driving force. It has a larger water capacity than the regular Twin Tank and offers an impressive 65% more resistance. It also connects the water resistance knob to the Bluetooth monitor via a sensor.

Fluid Bluetooth monitor: real-time insight into your rowing strokes

The Fluid Bluetooth monitor gives you immediate insight into all training parameters such as time, watts, calories, distance and rowing strokes per minute. In addition, the monitor automatically displays the resistance level that you set using the rotary knob on the rowing machine. You can also connect to training apps such as Fluid Connect, Regatta, Asensei, EXR and Kinomap via Bluetooth.

The so-called Power Graph is a unique feature of the Fluid Bluetooth monitor. This graph shows your rowing stroke in real time. You can use this information to perfect your rowing technique. The better your technique, the more you benefit from your training! In fact, the ideal rowing stroke consists of six steps that form a smooth, repetitive cyclical motion.

Do you want to train according to your heart rate? Then connect the monitor via Bluetooth to a digital heart rate monitor (sold separately) or let the trainer read your heart rate directly via the Touch Heart Rate Handle (sold separately).

The seat is raised for easy access and comfort can be further enhanced with a fluid seat back cushion.

The Neon Pro XL stands on raised legs for particularly easy access. For added stability, the seat rides on a double rail. The double bearing wheels under the seat run smoothly over two plastic strips attached to both rails. This prevents wear and tear and ensures that the rowing experience is always quiet: you hear nothing but the "splashing" of the moving water.

Small brushes are fitted behind the seat wheels. These sweep the rails with every rowing movement and prevent dust particles from the rails sticking to the wheels. This keeps every rowing movement smooth.

Each foot firmly in place

The footplates are height-adjustable and have two robust, separate foot straps that allow you to secure each foot individually. Your feet are close together, just like in a real rowing boat. Both footplates also have a specially designed 'bucket' at the bottom. Thanks to its design, this heel support adapts perfectly to the heel of your shoe and moves with every rowing movement. As a result, your foot never slips while rowing.

The strength of the bungee, the elastic band that pulls the strap back, has been optimised so that it adds no resistance but still pulls the strap smoothly back into the trainer as soon as you move forward. This happens in one fluid motion without the bungee creating a pulling sensation or the band "stuttering" during this movement.

Tank frame effortlessly withstands the strongest rowing stroke

The steel frame above the tank absorbs most of the force during training. This is because you push off on the footplate and pull on the front part of the frame with the pulley. Because the frame of the Fluid Neon Pro XL rowing machine is made of one piece of bent steel, squeaking and creaking are prevented and it feels super stable. This means you can train as intensively as you like without having to worry about damaging anything.
