Fluid flow resistance: rowing as if on water
Rowing with a Fluid Rower sounds, feels and looks like you're on the water, thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented Twin Tank technology. This unique system allows you to easily adjust the water resistance at any time using the dial.

The Fluid Rower's water tank consists of two separate tanks: an inner tank and an outer tank. The inner tank is the "passive tank" or storage tank, while the outer tank is the "active tank" or resistance tank. When you select a higher resistance with the knob while rowing, the water is transferred from the passive tank to the active tank. As a result, you will feel more resistance after just a few strokes of rowing. If you select a lower resistance, the water is conveyed from the active tank back to the passive tank, so that you feel less resistance after a few strokes.

You'll experience fast and smooth resistance adjustment during your workout and never have to pre-determine the amount of water in the tank. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank is engineered and perfected down to the smallest detail: If the fill limit is not exceeded, the tank will never leak. Not even if you put it upright.

The Mega Pro XL is powered by an XL Twin Tank. It has a larger water capacity than the regular Twin Tank and offers up to 65% more resistance. It also connects the water resistance knob to the Bluetooth monitor via a sensor.

Fluid Bluetooth Monitor: real-time insight into your rowing stroke
The Fluid Bluetooth Monitor gives you instant insight into all your workout parameters such as time, watts, calories, distance and rowing strokes per minute. In addition, the monitor automatically displays the resistance level you set using the knob on the rower. You can also connect to training apps like Fluid Connect, Regatta, Asensei, EXR and Kinomap via Bluetooth.

Unique to the Fluid Bluetooth Monitor is what's called the Power Graph. This graph shows your rowing stroke in real time. You can use this information to perfect your rowing technique. The better your technique, the more you can get out of your workout! The ideal rowing stroke consists of six steps that create a smooth, repetitive cyclic motion.

Want to train by heart rate? Then connect the monitor via Bluetooth to a digital heart rate monitor (sold separately) or let the device measure your heart rate directly via the touch heart rate monitor handle (sold separately).

The seat is elevated for easy entry and comfort can be further enhanced with a backrest kit.

The Mega Pro XL stands on raised legs for extra comfortable entry, and the seat is mounted on a double rail for added stability. The double-bearing wheels under the seat are made of plastic. These glide seamlessly over two plastic strips attached to both rails. This prevents wear and tear, and rowing is always silent: apart from the "woesh" of the moving water, you hear no sound.

Each foot firmly in place
The footrests are height-adjustable and equipped with two sturdy, separate foot loops that allow you to secure each foot individually. The feet are close together, just like in a real rowing boat. Both footrests are also equipped with a special lining on the bottom. Thanks to its design, this heel support fits perfectly to the heel of your shoe and moves with every rowing movement. This prevents your foot from slipping off while rowing.

The Fluid Rower Mega Pro XL has a high-quality ergonomic handle. Thanks to its slightly curved and extra-wide shape, it provides the best grip during every rowing stroke. Your body automatically assumes the best body position so you can exert the most force. The handle is connected to a nylon strap: strong, quiet and stable. The strength of the bungee, the elastic band that pulls the belt back, has been optimized so that it does not create additional resistance, but still pulls the belt gently back into the device as you move forward. This is done in one smooth movement, without the elastic band pulling or the belt "stuttering" during this movement.

The tank frame easily withstands the strongest rowing stroke
The steel frame above the tank absorbs most of the force during the exercise. This is because you push off on the footrest and pull over the cord on the pulley at the front end of the frame. Because this frame on the Fluid Rower Viking Pro XL is made of partially bent steel, there is no squeaking or creaking and it feels very stable. So you can train intensively on a Fluid Rower without worrying that something will break.
