The Microtex upper is supple yet strong and stable for a comfortable and consistent fit. It's put together in a sleek and streamlined yet highly ergonomic pattern to give you the protection you need. Overcurve is a shoe construction with a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the ankle's two bony prominences: the lateral and medial malleoli. The result is an asymmetrical shape where the throat of the shoe curves over the foot from the outside to the inside. The closure is simple and secure and is driven by a micro-adjustable Boa® IP1 scale. Vento Overcurve X3s are assembled using extensive use of welds and laminated reinforcements, reducing exposed seams where debris could collect. They are lightweight but durable, long lasting and easy to wipe down and clean. The race-oriented characteristics of these shoes continue with the X3 Carbon Injection outsole: minimal to save weight but stiff for power transfer, and with an aggressive tread pattern that scratches the ground and sheds mud easily.
