Stealth soles for Five Ten flat pedal shoes offer optimum grip on the pedals thanks to their perfect viscosity and elasticity.

The success story of Five Ten began in 1985 with the Stealth® sole, a special rubber compound with excellent grip. Further innovations followed, making the family-run company a pioneer in the outdoor sector for mountaineers and mountain bikers and one of the most popular brands. Today, you can choose from several award-winning material compounds for maximum grip in different conditions. Top athletes such as big mountain ski champion JT Holmes, 2011 National Geographic Sportsman of the Year Dean Potter and world-renowned action athlete Suz Graham are part of the team.

adidas took over the performance brand in 2011. Five Ten founder and president Charles Cole sees the cooperation as an excellent opportunity to fully utilise the potential of the "Brand of Brave". As with adidas founder Adi Dassler, product quality is at the centre of all activities for the makers of Five Ten. For more than 30 years now, the goal has always been to develop the best products for athletes. MTB riders of all disciplines perfect their style with the bike shoes.

The designers have developed different models for street riders, freeriders, enduro mountain bikers, downhill and all-mountain riders.

THE STEALTH® RUBBER COMPONENTS at a glance

Stealth® rubber guarantees unbeatable grip on the pedals. The grippy outsoles give you additional security and more confidence when calling up your best performance. Depending on the requirements on the MTB or BMX bike, the shoes integrate different Stealth® rubber components, which are mixed differently depending on the model.

MI6™ RUBBER FOR GRIP AND CUSHIONING

This supple rubber impresses with impact and vibration-damping properties. You benefit from plenty of grip on different surfaces. The ultra-soft properties make the shoes ideal climbing and MTB shoes for freeriders and downhill riders.

C4™ RUBBER FOR EASY ENTRY AND STRONG GRIP

The C4 rubber compound offers maximum control, especially on extremely technical terrain. MTB shoes with C4 rubber stand for unrivalled grip and easy entry into the clipless pedals.

MN™ RUBBER - HARD-WEARING AND ABRASION-RESISTANT

The Marathon compound is the most robust material composition and was developed by Five Ten specifically for the extreme demands of dirt jump and BMX riders. You can also wear these comfortable shoes in everyday life.

S1™ RUBBER - THE ALL-ROUNDER ON PEDALS

The high abrasion resistance, cushioning and good grip make this rubber compound one of the most flexible compositions of Five Ten. Stealth® S1™ is the brand's classic rubber outsole: it absorbs shocks, impresses with its high durability and excellent grip in wet conditions. This makes the shoes ideal as hiking and MTB shoes. The Five Ten Helicat with Stealth® S1™ sole is the favourite of riders such as Emmelie Ragot, Danny Hart and many other professionals. The Hellcat is considered the most successful shoe in Downhill World Cup history.

PH™ RUBBER - ROBUST AND GRIPPY

The Ph™ rubber is available in four variants and was initially intended as an abrasion-resistant version of the legendary S1™ rubber. The soft material is ideal for running, with the highlight being the excellent traction: Five Ten bike shoes with abrasion-resistant Ph™ rubber impress with good grip and very good power transfer to the pedals.
