Pleasure biking on the Drautalweg
Difficulty: easy
The Drau Cycle Path, 510 km long in total, begins about 50 km from Lienz in Dobbiaco. The Italian village, where the Drava River rises, is easily reached by train. The well signposted cycle path leads through picture book villages always down the valley along the water.
The Drau Cycle Path leads from Dobbiaco in South Tyrol via Lienz to Völkermarkt in Carinthia and from there to Maribor in Slovenia. Two of the six stages of the Drau Cycle Path lead through East Tyrol. The first stage runs over 47 kilometers from Toblach to Lienz. The second stage leads cyclists from Lienz to Spittal and is considerably longer at 74.5 kilometers. Numerous interesting cultural sites line the route. For example, you pass directly by the historic walls of the ancient Roman settlement of Aguntum.
The cycling tour follows a well-marked cycle path and is suitable for all types of bicycles. The tour is recommended to families with children as well as to cycling novices.
Iseltalradweg
Difficulty: easy
With a length of about 29 kilometers and an average gradient of one percent, the Iseltal cycle path is a good way to leave the vibrant small town of Lienz behind for a short time and simply cycle on towards Matrei in East Tyrol. The bike path is mostly asphalted and only a short section of country road has to be taken to the final stop at Matrei in East Tyrol. Of course, the Iseltal cycle path can also be tackled in reverse, i.e. from Matrei in Osttirol - from Matrei in Osttirol to Lienz, the route is always slightly downhill.
Family bike path St. Jakob - Maria Hilf
Difficulty: easy
The trail begins at the "Einfangbrücke" bridge just before the center of St. Jakob. The family-friendly bike path leads next to the gravelled riverside path of the Schwarzach past the large adventure playground and fairground on the Sander plain in the direction of Bad Grünmoos and then to Maria Hilf. This bike trail is also part of the St. Jakob Water Experience Trail.
Lienzer Talboden
Difficulty: easy
In the Lienz valley floor, this bike route leads around the district capital through the surrounding villages. The loop has a length of 40 km and is thus ideally suited for family day trips. The cycle route is uniformly signposted throughout and marked with a seal. It is very varied in character, has only slight inclines and offers beautiful views in many places. The main road can be crossed safely through underpasses.

Bikepark Lienz
The trails in the Bikepark Lienz bring it together to a proud length of about 11.6 kilometers and are thus a challenge for every experienced biker. Flow and massive airtime describe the new trails excellently, while the incomparable panorama must not be forgotten. Where else can you ride your bike on a perfectly shaped trail over 7 kilometers long right into town? For the ascent and bike transport, the stated opening hours of the Lienz cable cars on the Hochstein apply.
Bikepark Großglockner
