e-Road Bike - the speedster
What is the point of a road bike with a motor? For competition and professional use, road bikes with electronic support will not play a role in the future. But in the touring sector and for hobby riders, the advantages are obvious. For older road cyclists, demanding tours remain feasible, for road bike fans who often do not have time for training, the possibilities also increase and differences in condition in groups can be compensated.
Goodbye headwind!
No bike shines with the attributes of speed and dynamics like a road bike. Combine these characteristics with the thrust of an electric motor and you have a real powerhouse. E-road bikes thus increase not only endurance and range, but above all riding pleasure. The agility of a road bike paired with a powerful electric motor takes road cycling to a whole new level.
E-racing bikes can be used for training as well as for normal leisure rides. These modern racing machines are made for fast riding and provide support up to a speed of 25km/h. The e-racing bike can be used for training as well as for normal leisure riding. However, the e-racing bike is not an electric motorcycle, but a so-called pedelec. It does not drive by itself, but supports the driver when pedaling. This has the advantage that in groups the power or motor support can be individually adjusted and thus even less trained riders can keep up.
With the use of modern materials such as carbon and aluminum, the weight could be pushed in recent years to under 10kg in some cases. Apart from the design, however, the motor power of the electric road racers is also considerable. A motor with 350 watts of power and a powerful battery already brings the e-road bike really forward. This promises the highest agility and maximum driving fun.
