They are made for those of us who like to ride light and loose off the road, but without sacrificing practical features. The liner shorts are designed to be worn directly under your TRAIL cargo shorts. That's why the flat, flexible straps are close to the torso and fit so perfectly that they are virtually unnoticeable as soon as you assume the riding position. At the back, we've added our tried-and-true mesh stabilizer fabric insert to help keep you cool and keep the two lower back carry pockets in place. These externally mounted pockets have been positioned high enough to avoid contact with the waistband of the shorts you're wearing over them - yet low enough to allow easy access to the contents under your jersey. Make it easy on yourself: just leave your bag at home for shorter rides and instead rely on the two narrow pockets of the bib shorts to carry an extra bottle, pump, tools or your keys. The leg panels use our extra soft and stretchy Aerofit fabric - designed with breathability in mind, so you stay cool and dry when the temperature rises - or your heart rate does. The waist was designed with a large V-shaped section that, while you're in the riding position, easily adjusts to your abdominal area. We've also adjusted the inseam to make the shorts feel even better on your thighs. We've also added our removable impactPads to the hips to further protect you from falls on particularly challenging rides. Thanks to their oval shape and 8 mm thick, tightly woven polyurethane, these pads are perfect for providing you with protection, but at the same time do not interfere with your riding.
