It is equipped with removable, Pro-Shape Scarabeo protectors on the shoulders, chest and back, allowing great freedom of movement and ventilation. The structure of the Pro-Shape Scarabeo protector is inspired by the geometry of naturally occurring auxetic materials: Upon impact or stress, they expand simultaneously in all directions, increasing the coverage area. Their structure, which leaves the coverage area 55% open, and the fabric, made of highly breathable material, combine to guarantee maximum lightness and optimal ventilation at every stage of the ride, even on the hottest days.
